Emotional Intelligence Advanced
TTUHSC and the Institute for Health and Human Performance (IHHP) have teamed together to deliver "The Science of Emotional Intelligence" in both live in-person and online formats. IHHP’s Science of Emotional Intelligence program equips people, teams, and organizations with the practical knowledge and skills to make their workplace culture a competitive advantage. After completing the program, participants will be able to:
Immediately apply the emotional management strategies they have learned to manage stressful situations more effectively
Manage the impact of individual behaviors on business.
Build engaging and meaningful relationships.
Foster a psychologically safe environment across their teams and organization.
Act as an exceptional leader who inspires and motivates their team to produce higher levels of contribution, productivity, and true engagement.

Earning Criteria
Required
Participate in the six-hour Science of Emotional Intelligence course. This course sets the stage for development of skills and abilities and provides structured learning and guided practice.
Participants will create a personal action plan that will be implemented over 6 weeks. Partcipants are guided and coached in the development of this plan to ensure it is actionable and will promote implementation of EI skills.
Follow up reflection and guided questions help participants showcase how they have applied and utilized learning outcomes.
